Long-haul flights
Long-haul flights can be quite a regular occurence these days. Follow these simple steps to look after yourself and to make the most of your visit once you arrive:
- For each hour time zone you cross your body may need up to one whole day to recuperate.
- Try and sleep on the plane
- When awake, walk about to maintain the circulation
- Avoid too much alcohol
- When you arrive, get out into the sunlight to help your body acclimatise
- Try not to return to work for 24 hours after a long haul flight
